I made a switch from gravel to controsoil and it has been such a rewarding change for me. I especially noticed how my shrimps love to graze and forage around the tank more. (They usually hid in a corner all day). And I LOVE how clean the soil is. I was worried the water would be murky for the next few days but it cleared up within and hour or two for me.
Purchased some Ludwigia Super Red from Splashy Fish and very happy with the purchase. They were healthy and free of any snales or other critters. Will buy more plants from Splashy Fish again. They have a great selection!
