About Fritz ParaCleanse

Fritz ParaCleanse treats and controls of a wide variety of parasitic diseases. Use Fritz ParaCleanse for outbreaks of aquatic parasites including velvet (Oodinium dinoflagellates), hole-in-the-head disease (Hexamita spp. & Spironucleus), fish lice, or gill & skin flukes (Dactylogyrus & Gyrodactylus). This treatment is suitable for fresh and saltwater aquariums, and will not discolor the water. 

Directions & Dosage

PREPARATIONS:

Use of a hospital tank is recommended. No water changes, pH or temperature adjustments necessary if readings are in ideal range (Freshwater pH 6.4 - 7.6 / Saltwater 8.0 -8.4, temperature 68̊to 82̊F). Remove all chemical filtration (carbon, ion exchange resins) before and during use. Turn off UV sterilizer if present during treatment. Aeration and water flow should be maintained. In marine aquariums turn off protein skimmer during treatment;resume use after completion of treatment. The active ingredients in Fritz ParaCleanse can negatively affect beneficial bacteria which remove ammonia and nitrite from water. Testing for ammonia and nitrite is recommended. Chemical ammonia removers such as Fritz Aquatics A.C.C.R. may be used during treatment to prevent ammonia poisoning of the fish. Note: Fritz ParaCleanse will not color or cloud aquarium water.

DIRECTIONS:
One complete course of treatment will take 5 days.Treat for the full course of treatment even if visible signs of infection or illness disappear.

Day One: Add contents of one packet per 10 gallons of water to be treated.

Day Three: Add contents of one packet per 10 gallons of water to be treated.

Day Five: Perform a 25% water change.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Each packet contains 250 mg metronidazole and 75 mg praziquantel.

WARNING, This product contains chemicals, including metronidazole, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer

This means that out of 1000 live orders that we shipped to our customer only 5 orders would have fish that arrived dead.

At Splashy Fish, we ensure that our customers are happy and satisfied with their orders. We offer a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee on all of our animals that are shipped to the customer via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

Splashy Fish has the right to void Live Arrival Guarantee protection if these circumstances include: 

  1. The customer has chosen USPS First Class Mail as a shipped method. 
  2. Shipping address to a PO Box
  3. The order was refused delivery by the customer. 
  4. The order was held for pick up at USPS, UPS, FedEx offices no longer than 24 hours after the last update on the tracking number. 
  5. Live Arrival Guarantee claim does not include all the requirements mentioned below
  6. Live Arrival Guarantee claim made after the arrival period is mentioned below. 
  7. The Fish/Animal have to be in original packaging. 

Live Arrival Guarantee Claim Period: 

For Live Fish and other invertebrates: one and a half hours (1.5 hours) of posted delivery time or customer received time. 

For Snails48 hours of posted delivery time or customer received time. 

How to claim for Splashy Fish's Live Arrival Guarantee: 

If there is an incident when your fish are delivered "dead on arrival,” 

  1. Take 1 picture of the shipping box and the shipping label. 
  2. For live fish and other invertebrates: Take 2 pictures of each of the fish bags that is dead on arrival (the pictures have to show the bag in its original condition, unopened with the original rubber band)
For Snail: Snail generally take longer to acclimate, our customer will have 48 hours of posted delivery time to claim for Live Arrival Guarantee. Please place the snail at the one corner of the tank and within 48 hours and any snail didn't move. Please take pictures of the snail where the opening. 
  1. Send us an email to DOA@splashyfishstore.com with the subject line: DOA and Your Order Number OR messaged us on our social media
  2. Body of the text: Your tracking number
  3. The claim must be sent within the claim period mentioned above. 

After submitting all the information required above it will take us 1 to 3 business days to determine the cause of dead on arrival. If the claim was valid and approved by our team, There is two option for you to choose from:

  1. Complimentary one-time replacement of the fish you ordered (pending current inventory availability). Customers are responsible for the replacement shipping charge. 
  2. Received the store credit for future purchase of the dead on arrival fish excluding the shipping cost. 

If the Live Arrival Guarantee claim doesn't include all the requirements listed above, Splashy Fish has all the rights to reject your claim.

 

 

We ship all of the customer orders from our warehouse located in Springfield, VA. We pack and ship our orders depending on the orders with the exception of someday we cannot ship out live fish.

All Live Fish orders will be shipped out on Tuesday and Wednesday each week for overnight shipping by UPS.

Monday to Saturday:  We will pack and ship out all orders that do not contain live fish. 

Sunday: (Splashy Day) Today is the day we let our hard-working team members and our fish to destress and ready for the following week's shipment.
